It would have seemed to me I skipped a lot while reading Hitchhiker and since I don't remember the towel as something to not be caught without, I guess it's true. Certainly makes sense, however.

A couple years ago my kids gifted me with a copy of the BBC television version. Only two of them asked to borrow it before I had finished watching it. The same two enjoy watching Monty Python. There may be a theme developing.
