It's Easter Sunday morning and I feel like I should be praying. Well, OK, I am. I've come to learn that prayer is desire, not words. It is intention and not always asking. I have little to ask for at this stage in my life anyway, having been given all I need. But desire ... that is built in to all of us and it never stops. It must be significant of something deeper than it appears.
I always thought Easter was kinda neat. He came back. I appreciate that. Especially in view of the way He was treated. And while Easter is supposed to be the Great Holy Day of the Church, for me the miracle has always been Christmas, the significance of which is Immanuel, He is with us. And then He came back.
Is any of it true? I don't know. I don't really care, frankly. It's not about what I know. It's about something deeper. It's about desire.
Here's an Easter song for you. You could think it sacrilegious, but you'd be missing the point. It's about desire. It's about people in swing with each other. Listen to the words. It's about love and it's about prayer. Happy Easter.

Agree with most, Dave. A really cold day here with nothing in blossom. Snow last night. Blessings to you and Mrs Dave.

Hope you had a great Easter Dave, Mrs. Dave & Fiona.
We had a good day. Gabby & I listened to Barb (and the rest of the choir) sing the traditionals, 15 or 16 at table for dinner. Another glass of wine and a couple chocolate/peanut butter eggs & I'll be set for the night.
