It being a long time since I or my offspring have paid tuition or fees to SUNY, I wasn't aware of what this post-er claims:
"Drop the fees, SUNY: The semester fees at any two or four-year SUNY college equal half the tuition! And there are more than "just fees" to attend SUNY, there are "other" fees, too. Enough Already NY!"
I wonder what that's all about. Just an avoidance of increasing tuition?
