Nice work, all. Thanks Dave. My posts come out very small. I used to eat at a place on lower Genesee Street in the 1960's. It was called "Peter's Fine Food's". Anybody remember it? They had the best rice pudding in the universe.

I guess they didn't have to advertise their food. - Just for help. I expect you remember the Triangle too.

Peter's Fine Food doesn't sound familiar to me, but the Triangle Coffee Shop does. Was the Triangle on Franklin Square? I can't picture where.

Triangle Coffee Shop was farther south on the point where Washington St met Genessee, across the street from the YMCA. That was another small but very good place to grab lunch downtown. Another was Jerry Maxwell's Maxwell House next to the 258 building. I just read recently that Jerry had passed away. He was a great guy and a good cook. I used to walk up there from Jeffery Hdwe. when I worked for Don Jeffery just before I went in the Navy. Summer of 1965.

Yes, the Triangle being up on the Washington Street point seems right. Is this photo below the old Y building?
