OK, great! Well, you know how to use this forum you're reading this on, morestories.proboards.com. So you want to post on ongeneseehill.blogspot.com You should be able log on and post. Only you and I can post on that particular blog and we'll leave it that way for now. I think you might want to let me do the formatting, because it can get a little complicated. So if you want to change (or eliminate) the background picture, send me a new photo and I'll do it for you. Blogspot now has what's called a new Dynamic Views template. I have played with it and like it but have not used it on my other blogs because so far it does not support gadgets, so I would be unable to have videos, scripts, etc. appearing down the side. These gadgets may not be important to OnGeneseeHill, so think about it and if you want Dynamic Views we can try it and see if you like it. You'll need to post a few posts first, however, because you need them to see how the Dynamic Views works.

Am thinking about the text on the OGH frontpage. I always have liked the frontpage, but not the story line there so much. And I def. do not like the new font. How can I change it so that it looks like the old page or should I go with a photo of the Olbiston or the Flats or a montage?

Fiona, are you speaking of the OGH Website or the OGH blog or something else? If you could copy and paste the URL line into your note, that would help me tremendously to understand what you want to change. Above, we were discussing the ogh blog, here: ongeneseehill.blogspot.comIf this is the page you're referring to, there aren't any posts on it, so you must be referring to the font of the Blog title, which is a "brush" font. You have Admin privileges on the OGH Blog, so you can change the font, the background picture, etc. You can change the font for the posts or anything I can change. In order to do so, you will need to log in and learn how to use blogger. They way I learned how to do it was to just do it, guessing my way through. I have a backup at the state the blog now appears on this date so don't worry about messing it up. If you don't want to bother learning it, tell me what you want and I'll change it. If you have background graphic, send it to me and an example of the style of font you want. I'll try my best to match it. AGAIN, are we talking about the OGH Blog page here? ongeneseehill.blogspot.com

I don't know. I can see that a single post is up on the blog, but it was empty. So I put a test block of text in it and it seems to work. Try a new post and see what happens. You may have inadvertently hit the wrong button or something.
When you say old font, do you mean the brush font that has been used for the title since I set it up.? That's what I'm seeing now. If you're not, refresh your browser. Maybe you're displaying a prior version of the page. If you don't want the brush font, tell me which font you'd like. Dave

You may mean on this web page at: www.windsweptpress.com/ogh1.htmThe web page is still there and was intended to hold the product of our OGH work. All five web pages are alive and doing well, although we haven't added to them in quite a while. This is the graphic at the top of that page. Do you mean the font in this graphic? The font is Lucida Calligraphy bold.

YES. That is the one. I went to Clipper's and started reading over the material. There is such a mass of it. Can you give me a clue as to how it could be moved to the blog? I have some time now for a small start, so I am going to try and post again.
