How do I post a U Tube music video to Brother Jesse's?

Get the video running and go to the top of the screen and copy the url (address). Then paste that url directly into a a new post.

Then "surround" the url by putting [you tube] directly ahead of it and [/you tube] directly after it, but no spaces.

Here is an example, but I've added a space between "you" and "tube" so that it doesn't try to really get a video. When you actually do it, don't use a space.

or you can open a new message box and click on the youtube icon (red box with tube written) in the tools section...this automatically will post the correct code and insert your url by putting your cursor between the [you tube] and the closing code[/you tube] and then pasting it between code

one person I knew always used { instead of this [ which made the quote not take ......it just showed all he was trying post along with the front and back end codes for quote ..... so make sure you always select the squared [ and not the squiggly {

There are also Youtube embeds, which can be used in blogs (and elsewhere). I use them at the end of each post in Monk In The Cellar. And also as "gadgets" in the Blogs.

Here's an example of a Youtube embed at the end of a blog post:

In the following example, YouTube embeds are used for the 2nd and 3rd gadgets appearing down the right hand side of the page, "My Little AE86" and "Celtic Women." Because the embeds are in html, they can be adjusted for size.
