Dave: I love these cards, especially the bird's eye view. I don't know how I missed it, but I'm glad you found it. To answer your question about the Home for Aged men and Women, the answer is yes and the building was designed, of course, by Jacob Agne. About the building above, I think it is still standing and later ,in the 1940's, became Mary Street School. Isn't card cow fabulous? I could spend days there.

Have we seen this view of the Busy Corner before? I don't remember it. Found on the Web. They must have had it colorized out of town, because Grace Church's steeple looks red. Don't know the date, but mixed autos and horses and the Bank building on the corner of Elizabeth has not yet been erected.www.windsweptpress.com/images/busy corner 9.jpg[/img]
