Our City Hall. West side of Genesee Street across from the Butterfield House, where we will be lunching. Gosh. Golly. Gee whiz. What a place! It's a quarter to twelve by the clock. We've been walking for a while. Time for lunch. Aunt Blandina and Aunt Helen will be joining us, we are to meet them at the corner in front of the Fort Schuyler Club. Let us hurry so as not to be late.

Here we say hello to the "Butterfield House and Hotel." They are famous for their Peaches Melba and you will simply adore their delicate egg salad sandwiches with cress and cucumbers. Aunt Blandina always has a delicious smoked salmon patty and Aunt Helen, of course, the chicken timbales. Aunt helen is a very conservative eater.

West side of Genesee Street, still going South of course, corner of Genesee and Washington Streets, The old "Female Seminary" or Utica Female Academy, also called Balloil School, or "Miss Piatt's". It has many names, but I call it "wonderful" I am a day student there and in the eleventh form. I will be graduating next year. To the North is Westminster Presbyterian Church, which has many beautiful stained glass windows.

Across Genesee again, on the West side, the Fort Schuyler Club. Here they come now. I don't think either of my Aunt's have ever been late a day in their lives.

We had a wonderful luncheon and now my two Aunt's have gone shopping in the Frasier Department Store. I have my eye on a sterling silver brush and mirror set. Perhaps if I improve in mathmatics... let us continue on with the tour and walk South: On the East side of Genesee Street we see the Utica Public Library. Elegant, isn't it?

We are heading towards Oneida Square and then, up Genesee Street to the residential area called "Genesee Hill." It is a little walk, so now we can linger on "The Square" as I have to show you some wonderful statuary.
